There are several peace process going on the Philippines. To know what is officially being negotiated, you should visit the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) Websites' page Peace Tables. When the Mindanao Peace Process it now refers to the GPH - MILF Peace process. Before the 1996 Final Peace Agreement between the Government Republic of the Philippines (now Government of thqe Philippines) and the Moro National Liberation, it used to refer to the GPH - MNLF Peace Process which is mainly a review of the 1996 FPA in relation to RA 9054 (Expanded ARMM).
Despite being mainly referred to GPH - Moro Front Peace Process, it must be understood that CPP-NPA-NDF elements are present in Mindanao. But their aspiration is not the Right to Self Determination of Muslim Mindanao thus the reason why they are Mindanao Conflict is mostly issues and concerns of the GPH in relation to the Moro Fronts.
The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) has their own website at Luwaran. It is the Official Site of the MILF Central Committee on Information. The Moro National Liberation Front has a blogsite maintained by their Director for Advocacy Communication John Remollo Petalcorin.

Fish Not Warts is a place for my personal side comments on the Peace Processes in the Philippines. However, personal will not necessarily be my own comment but also of opinions of others which I deem valid and fair to be noted.
Comment valid and fair to be noted means that the comments which is not necessarily of my own bias but things that I believe must be noted for public attention (if public do visit this site).
This could be titled Peace not War but due to the protracted nature of peace processes in the Philippines many will just brush this off and will not try to read a word of this sight because the Process is boring (until guns starts firing, bombs start exploding, houses turning to ashses, and people running to all directions) But the title also mean practical reality - PEACE should at least mean a better life of food (FISH) and not the UGLY FACE filled of WARTS.
Unfortunately, I cannot list awards or list of studies I made about peace or war as I have none. But I and my family lived through Peace and War most of our lives. The most memorable were 2001, 2004, 2008 conflict. Thus this topic has been very important for me to follow as it directly affects our living condition.
Fish Not Warts will provide information based on officials sources (the links i provided). But note that this will not be long commentaries but side commentaries on the peace process (more particularly to Moro National Liberation Front and Moro Islamic Liberation Front related Process)
